7th Graders Visit Nation's Capital
Friday afternoon, members of the Class of 2019 returned home from visiting the Nation’s Capital. The group left on July 19th, and headed north for a night in Pigeon Forge. On the first night, everyone enjoyed dinner at CiCi’s Pizza and a night at The Track for go-karts, putt putt, and video games. After another day on the road, everyone arrived in Washington, D.C. During the two days in D.C., the group visited:

- U.S. Capitol for a tour
- The National Archives
- Smithsonian Museum of Natural History
- Tour of Ford’s Theatre (Museum, Theatre walk thru, Petersen House)
- Dinner at Ben’s Chili Bowl followed by walking tour of National Monuments
- Arlington National Cemetery
- The White House for photos
- Smithsonian Museum of American History
- Smithsonian Air and Space Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, VA
- Top Golf for dinner and fun

The group spent the final days of the trip back in Pigeon Forge for a day at Dollywood and the Lumberjack Feud Dinner Show before returning home.
