Track & Field is a multi-event sport held during the Spring. The season begins in January and ends in May. Practice begins formally immediately after the Christmas Holidays.
There are three divisions: junior high (8th and 9th), junior varsity (9th- 11th), and varsity (9th – 12th). Meets are usually conducted on a Friday or Saturday with a typical season being about six to ten meets, some here in town, others in other parts of the state. Each division competes against other teams on their own grade level. Students are allowed to try out for and participate in 18 different events. The different events that the students can participate in are:
