2016 Brother Martin Fishing Rodeo

The Fishing Rodeo returned to the backyard at school this past Saturday. After a brief rain delay, the rodeo kicked into high gear. The Class of ’73 Culinary Squad prepared and served sno-balls, fried fish and tasty treats. Beverages supplied by Pepsi and Southern Eagle Distributors and tents supplied by Fleur de Lis Rentals and a water slide kept the crowd cool. The Parade of Prizes awarded over 60 prizes, a special jewelry raffle sponsored by Chris’ Fine Jewelry and the “big 10” raffle board provided top prizes. Prizes included a 2-night stay at Windsor Court, Sugar Bowl tickets, fishing charters and a Ruth’s Chris gift certificate. Phins & Pheathers won the 5-Trout Stringer category and Anthony Congemi ’19 caught the largest fish by a current Brother Martin student.
