Class of 2019 Enjoys Second Quarter Senior Lunch
The Class of 2019 enjoyed their second quarter Senior Lunch, sponsored by the Brothers of the Sacred Heart Alumni Association. The lunch, held on Thursday, December 13 in the Bro. Mark Thornton Terrace, was a time for the seniors to come together at the end of the semester with their classmates before exams. College Placement Counselor Mr. Ian Supak was present at the lunch to update the seniors on college applications.
In addition, senior parent volunteers, faculty, and staff were on hand to help make this a great experience for the Class of 2019. Seniors were treated to fried chicken, mac and cheese, salad, rolls, and dessert. During the lunch, Advancement and Alumni Director Kenny Spellman ’84 encouraged seniors to evaluate their situation at the halfway point of their academic year regarding their year-end goals. He suggested formulating a plan for success heading into their last semester and reminded them the Alumni Office is a valuable resource after they graduate. Members of Brothers of the Sacred Heart Alumni Board were in attendance and answered questions about life in the business arena and coming back to support their alma mater after graduation.
