Basketball Falls in CYO Finals

After reaching the CYO Tournament finals, the Crusaders found themselves up against a tough E.J. Warrior team.  The Crusaders kept it close throughout most of the hard fought battle but came up short by a final score of 55-45.

Down by five points in the fourth quarter, the Crusaders desperately tried to attack the rim, but stout interior defense by the Warriors stopped the Crusader efforts.

The Crusaders (6-1) made a last ditch effort getting within four with a little over a minute remaining, but didn’t have enough in the end.

Brother Martin will play in the Newman Tournament starting on Thursday.  Go ‘Saders!
