Beecher Named Athlete of the Week

Brother Martin bowler R.J. Beecher has been named the Nola.com New Orleans Metro area Large Schools male Athlete of the Week.

In the championship match, Beecher scored games of 198, 236 and 250 totaling to a series of 684 pins and a 228 average. This play helped Brother Martin in their 20-7 victory over Central-Baton Rouge. This was the Crusaders’ first state title as a bowling program.

Beecher finished the season with a 27-2 record in match play and was named District Most Valuable Player.
