Biology Students Participate in STEM Lab
In this STEM lab investigation, Mr. Jamie Bridgman’s Biology students used different indicator solutions to identify the presence of specific organic compounds in an unknown solution. The students compared the color change that an indicator produces in the unknown food sample with the changes it produces in samples of known compositions. Our Crusaders determined whether specific organic compounds were present in the unknown samples.
Mr. Bridgman’s solution experiment is the start of many STEM lab experiments that the Science Department will conduct throughout the year, with each of the science classes.
