Members of the Brother Martin Crusader Band were recently invited to give a demonstration of a variety of instruments at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School in Kenner. This was a wonderful opportunity for our Crusaders to give of their time and talents and inspire the next generation of musicians!
Crusader senior, Zachary Pomet is featured in this month’s issue of St. Charles Avenue Magazine for his volunteer work as a student activist. Pomet plans to attend Louisiana State University to take courses in engineering and architecture. Mr. Duffy Rousselle’s Health class welcomed Dr. Leanne H. Fowler, DNP, MBA, APRN, AG/ACNP-BC, CNE to Brother Martin. Fowler brought a set of lungs to show students the negative effects of tobacco products and smoking on human lungs. Our Crusaders received information and got to see, first hand, cancers and tar build in the lungs….
Last week marked the start of School Day Tours at Brother Martin. Over 25 students visited the BEST campus in the state of Louisiana and participated in a student-lead tour. They also met with the Carlos Bogran ’99, Assistant Principal for Admissions, to ask questions and discuss the Admissions process. The day concluded with lunch…
