Class of 2017 Returns Home
Over the past week, the Crusader Class of 2017 traveled to Washington D.C. for their end of the year trip. Along the way the travelers stopped in Pigeon Forge, TN and had dinner at Calhoun’s followed by a night at The Track for go-karts and putt-putt. Once everyone arrived in D.C., the sight-seeing began. The first stop was outside the White House. Other sites and tours included the Capitol tour, a Pentagon tour, Arlington Cemetery, and the Smithsonian Natural History, Air & Space, and American History Museums. There was also a night walking tour of all the monuments along the Mall. To close out the trip, two days were spent at Kings Dominion theme park and Dollywood Splash Country.
