Crescent City Sports to Live Stream Quarterfinal Baseball Game
Crescent City Sports will wrap up its live streaming coverage of high school sports for the 2017-18 school year this weekend with coverage from a pair of area Division I quarterfinal baseball series.
The website will have a video webcast of Game 1 of the best-of-three series between No. 5 seed Holy Cross and fourth-seeded Brother Martin Friday at 5:30 p.m. from Kirsch-Rooney Stadium. On Saturday, it will feature coverage of Game 2 of the series between sixth-seeded Jesuit and No. 3 seed St. Paul’s from Covington.
Depending on the outcomes of the first two games in each series, coverage of a third and deciding game in either series may also be broadcast. Crescent City Sports’ Ken Trahan will provide the play-by-play throughout the weekend and will be joined by a team of analysts, including Danny Riehm and Jude Young.
Holy Cross swept Scotlandville and Brother Martin won two straight games against McKinley in opening-round series last weekend, while Jesuit needed three games to get past district rival Archbishop Shaw. St. Paul’s had an opening-round bye. The winners of each series advance to the single-elimination Division I semifinals next week in Sulphur.
