Ian Gourgues ’20 Receives Award from Knights of Columbus
Congratulations to Ian Gourgues ’20 who was awarded $500 from the Knights of Columbus Louisiana Catholic School Supplemental Tuition Lottery Program. This program is held at the state level covering 64 parishes with over 35,000 members in Louisiana. Ian was presented with a check on November 13th with representatives from the Knights of Columbus including State Deputy Rennan Duffour, State Youth Activity and Seminarian Mission Fund Chairman Delmas Forbes, Jr., Grand Knight of St. Edward Parish Beau Gelpi along with Principal Ryan Gallagher ‘00, President Greg Rando ‘77, his parents, and members of the Brother Martin Administration.
Ian is a graduate of St. Edward the Confessor Catholic School and is a member of the National Honor Society, Crusaders for Life & Justice and the Cross Country team. His father, Keith, is a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic School.
To qualify for the Knights of Columbus program, the student shall be a student in a Catholic school, be in good standing with their school, and his or her father needs to be a member of the Knights of Columbus.
