Mr. Ian Supak is “One to Watch” in Education
Mr. Ian Supak, a staff development coordinator, was recently featured in the “Ones to Watch” section of City Business for the March 14 edition. He was one of seven educators featured in the publication.
Supak has 20 years of experience as a teacher and school administrator with his past six years, as an educator, at Brother Martin High School. In his role as staff development coordinator, Supak is most directly involved in regular communication with the school’s 105 faculty members, offering support and guidance to teachers as they grow both professionally and personally.
Originally from Texas, Supak spent 13 years there working in education. He taught a variety of classroom subjects including English, Science and Theatre Arts. He also served as an elementary school principal for two years. This year, Supak was selected, by his colleagues, as a recipient of the 2018 Bro. Collin Dugas, S.C. Award for Social Justice. He earned a bachelor’s of arts degree from Texas A & M University and a master’s in education from the University of Houston.
Congratulations, Mr. Supak! We are so proud of your accomplishments and well-deserved article spotlight.
