Welcome, Applicants!

Saturday, January 7, was High School Application Day for all Crusader applicants. On this day, all area Catholic High Schools required all applicants to report to their school of choice to take a standardized test. These test results are used differently by each high school. Brother Martin specifically uses the test results for academic placement and academic scholarship consideration. At Brother Martin, this test is not an admissions test.
The next step in the Admissions process is one that has set Brother Martin High School apart for years- the personal interview. Starting on Monday, January 9, 2017, and over the next three weeks, each Crusader applicant and his parents will be interviewed by a member of the Brother Martin faculty, staff, or administration. This process will provide the Admissions Committee an opportunity to learn more about each applicant individually and to see beyond what is just on the application and cumulative academic records from the applicant’s elementary school.
Two months later, on Thursday, March 2, letters of acceptance or refusal will be mailed to each applicant. Once they receive their letters of acceptance, the newest Crusaders, members of the Class of 2021 and Class of 2022, can wear their Crimson and Gold with pride. They will officially register to be a Crusader for the 2017-2018 school year on Saturday, March 18.
