Wrestling Convocation

The Athletic Department hosted the annual Wrestling Convocation recently and honored the 2014 State Championship Crusader team. All levels of wrestlers–from junior high to varsity–were honored for an undefeated season. Danny Evans received the award for “Most Improved Wrestler,” and Yehia Riles was honored as the Hiram Greer Award winner for the “big win.” Ryan Genco received the Trent Gray Memorial Award, and Jacob Clapp was presented the Jay Rink Award for the best football player/wrestler. Paul Klein, Joshua Tapia, and Austin Meyn were recognized for their role as captains. Finally, Paul Klein and Austin Meyn were named MVPs of the season. Congratulations, Crusader Wrestlers!
